Launch of the new online showcase for Because You Care

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the new online showcase for Because You Care, a pioneering step forward in our mission to promote sustainability and care for our planet. Because You Care is dedicated to offering eco-friendly laundry detergent that not only takes care of your skin but also protects our environment. Our products are crafted from just three safe ingredients, free from any harmful substances, ensuring a safe washing experience for you and less plastic waste for our planet, thanks to our cardboard packaging.
To avoid harmful ingredients, many people are turning to eco-friendly and natural laundry detergents that use gentler and environmentally friendly ingredients. These products tend to avoid harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and other potentially problematic additives.
Laundry detergents end up in wastewater, which, after being treated at wastewater treatment plants, is released back into the environment.
Detergents contribute significantly to pollution due to the presence of molecules that are more or less unstable, toxic, and persistent.
Detergents, by forming foams, reduce the oxygenation of water. Their surfactant properties allow them to dissolve toxic molecules, facilitating their spread in aquatic environments. Similar to so-called "hormone-mimicking" pesticides (endocrine disruptors), some detergents are strongly suspected of interfering with the metabolism of animals, particularly amphibians (frogs and salamanders), fish, and humans. They may be responsible for sex changes in molluscs and fish, the drastic decline in frog populations, and the decrease in human sperm production. Surfactants released into water can react with salt, returning via the air and causing damage to Mediterranean coastal pine trees, for example.
