2025RS02 - Sales Representative Middle East

Our client, a French company based in Dubai, specializes in high-end interior decoration, offering solutions such as upholstery fabrics, curtains, blinds, and accessories for residential and commercial projects. It is known for its artisanal craftsmanship and luxury products, combining modern design with exceptional quality.

Job Purpose: To grow existing sales and develop new sales in Middle Eastern (ME)markets.
Hierarchical report: Middle East Regional and Business Development Manager.

Key Mission:
The role consists primarily of developing & growing sales and commercial activity of the two brands via
- Existing direct to Trade Clients and in some instances to public customers
- Prospecting New Customers

Key Tasks Responsibility:

  • Present new collections of The Brands twice a year (January and September) throughout the area, to customers
  • Ensure customers are trained and adequately knowledgeable across all product & marketing tools of The Brands
  • Monitor key accounts regularly. Maintain good current and new client relationships
  • Sell-in / place the relevant samples / tools to customers.
  • Ensure customers product libraries and tools are updated.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and quotations in agreement with the Regional Manager on major projects.
  • Maintain commercial links with all contacts, manage follow-up plans if necessary and be a driving force for transforming enquiries into orders and projects.
  • Grow sales for the Brands
  • Receive customers at trade fairs in the zone if undertaken.
  • Ensure the monitoring of commercial objectives and the management of the “dashboard” of the zone/customers responsible for.
  • Establish budgets in collaboration with the Regional Manager.
  • Implement the commercial strategy and operational plans in collaboration with The Regional Manager.

Market Development and Prospection:

  • Desk prospect and in-market prospect new customers, projects, opportunities.
  • With the implication of the Regional Manager develop and implement sales action plans accordingly.
  • Grow new customers accounts to become key accounts.
  • Propose ideas and initiatives with the goal of developing new and /or higher sales revenues.
  • Feedback to the Regional Manager, information concerning:
  • Competitors’ activity and details of their commercial policy and strategy.
  • Product, marketing, and promotional requests required for the local market.
  • Evidence & risks of copying products with details which help reveal their source (s)..

Profil

  • 2 yrs experience of sales and/or in a customer facing role in the region, preferably in the home décor industry.  
  • Appreciation for product
  • At ease with up market products and environment.
  • Fluent English, Arabic and French an advantage
  • The capacity to work on ERP system
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driving License for The Zone
  • Organized and self-managed. Ability to time-plan over the short, medium and long terms.  
  • The ability to act and work autonomously whilst at the same time integrating into a local team to becoming a team player.
  • The ability to develop, justify and present ideas and initiatives
  • Good communicator, methodical, rigorous, willing, amiable, sense of endurance, willing, capable, and legally permitted to regularly travel alone to the countries in the region.
