Ragini KALAPATAPUESG strategy and decarbonization programme for Egis Middle East and South Asia (MESA)

Ragini has over 11 years of experience in creating sustainability frameworks, delivering asset level benchmarking, and undertaking ESG due diligence. Her wealth of experience covers building certifications to portfolio wide sustainability and well-being strategies for multiple assets. She has led the sustainable design process on a wide range of cutting-edge buildings and masterplans.  

She has deep knowledge of sustainability initiatives and best practices, having worked with a range of private sector clients in the Middle East and the UK. She has created bespoke sustainability proforma and screening tools to allow her clients to manage, monitor and report ESG performance across their global portfolio of assets.  

Ragini is leading the ESG strategy and decarbonization programme for Egis Middle East and South Asia (MESA). She is responsible for GHG accounting, reporting and reduction in alignment with the Group's commitment under the SBTi targets to achieve Net Zero by 2050. She had co-developed the Sunshape Profiling Irradiometer (SPI) during her career at Masdar Institute of Science & Technology, Abu Dhabi, which along with her angular solar radiation distribution mapping algorithm has been granted a US patent.
