Khalid Alkadi is the Managing Director of International Subsidiary Banking, HSBC Middle East, managing a team of 100+ colleagues which serve international clients across Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey region.
Since joining the HSBC Group in 2005, he has held roles in strategy and planning functions as well as the retail and wholesale banking businesses, across Saudi Arabia, New York, London, Oman, and the UAE.
Prior to joining International Subsidiary Banking, Khalid worked as Chief of Staff to the CEOs in the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Algeria, helping define and implement their strategies across their markets.
During this time, Khalid also led external government engagements in support of the UAE, across areas such as youth engagement, sustainability, and SMEs. He has also been central to the development and implementation of HSBC’s Future Cities agenda across the region.
Khalid speaks English, Arabic, French. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Law from University of London, and he has gained certificate of Institute of Sustainability Leadership, Sustainable Finance from University of Cambridge. He is a father of three, has a dog named Mylo, loves to cycle, cook and is a Manchester United season ticket holder.
