Dr. Ulrich Koegler is a Partner with Strategy& in Dubai and a member of the leadership teams of Strategy&’s Middle East and global transport & infrastructure practices.

Ulrich primarily supports clients in the Surface Transport, Rail, Postal/Logistics, Aviation and Maritime industries and in the infrastructure sector.

The functional focus of his work in recent years has been on strategy development, strategic planning, restructuring/turnaround, operations and M&A/post-merger integration.

Beyond this he has worked extensively on a broad range of topics such as marketing/sales, finance/controlling and organisation for transportation clients, government authorities as well as for investment houses in Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia. 

Before joining Strategy&, Ulrich held positions as Vice President of Strategic Projects for the passenger business unit of Deutsche Bahn AG in Berlin, Germany and as Associate Principal with McKinsey&Co. in Cologne, Germany.

Ulrich holds a PhD in physics from the University of Düsseldorf, Germany and a diploma in physics from University of Göttingen, Germany.
