Dominique MORISSETUAE General Delegate - Nexter Systems in Abu Dhabi

Mr. Dominique Morisset has been appointed as UAE General Delegate of Nexter Systems in Abu Dhabi in September 2017. He is Senior representative of the Company toward UAE authorities and is responsible for the development of Nexter Group in the UAE.

• Former officer from the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) – he retired Staff Colonel Engineer.
• He spent 14 years of his life in Abu Dhabi, 7 years as Nexter Representative (2017 till date) and 7 years as Senior Advisor for Defence Acquisition of French Ambassadors (2010-2017). During his position as diplomat in Abu Dhabi, he has been actively involved with Abu Dhabi official services and departments– notably GHQ of UAE Armed Forces and Tawazun Economic Council – for the support of French industry in Abu Dhabi.
• He has hold before several key positions within the French Ministry of Defence, notably in connection with the development of deterrence forces missile capabilities and long-range strike capabilities of French Armed Forces. He started his carrier as a research & development engineer for SSBN (Sub-Surface Ballistic Nuclear) programs.
• For his achievements within the French Ministry of Defence, Dominique has been awarded the National Order of Merit (2013) and the Legion of Honor (2017).
• Since 2018, Dominique is an active member of Advisory Committee for Foreign Trade (CCEF) of French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
