Bander has over 14 years of progressive transformational strategic leadership experience and a subject matter expert in Projects Management, Local Content, Contracts Management, and Procurement and supply chain management. Before joining the Ministry of Investment, Bander held various Roles in his career including the head of the project contracting department at Qiddiya Investment Company, and previously was working for Saudi Aramco where he was heading the Downstream Projects Contracting Unit overseeing multibillion dollar projects including the Amiral Project (JV between Saudi Aramco and Total), Jazan Economic City (JEC), Jazan Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (JIGCC).
