Calling all businesses in the UAE!
The United Nations Global Compact UAE is conducting a survey to evaluate the progress, opportunities, and challenges businesses encounter in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Why participate ?
Your insights will contribute to the upcoming United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF), where crucial SDGs will be reviewed, including:
- Goal 1: No Poverty
- Goal 2: Zero Hunger
- Goal 13: Climate Action
- Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
- Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals
Spearheaded by the United Nations Global Compact in the UAE (GCN UAE), this survey aims to assess the progress, opportunities, and challenges faced by businesses in the UAE in contributing to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in anticipation of the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF).
The HLPF serves as the primary United Nations platform for the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its SDGs. This year, the HLPF will review in-depth specific SDGs, including Goal 1- End poverty in all its forms everywhere; Goal 2 - End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture; Goal 13 -Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts; Goal 16 - Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels; and Goal 17 -Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
Kindly note that this survey is intended for individuals who hold a leadership role in the company's sustainability strategy. Please ensure that it is completed by the appropriate person within your organization. Only one entry per organization located in the UAE is requested.
Your valuable insights through this survey will help inform a report and guide future actions to enhance private sector contributions to sustainable development. Your responses will remain anonymous and will be aggregated for analysis purposes only.
