2025RS06 - Key Account Manager
Our client, a leader in the UAE specializing in the retail sector, is looking for a key account manager to drive their sales strategy, develop key client relationships, and contribute to the company’s overall growth. The role will be based in Dubai.
Job Purpose:
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, and expanding our distribution network. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on sales expertise to manage a team and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy.
• Drive sales performance to achieve and exceed the annual revenue target of 7M+ AED in 2025.
• Expand business opportunities with existing and new distributors.
• Conduct business reviews and category development planning with key clients.
Team & Performance Management
• Lead and manage a sales team of 15+ staff, ensuring high performance and motivation.
• Monitor and optimize sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to the General Manager and COMEX.
Client & Market Management
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee asset management and merchandising across 150+ points of sale (POS).
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Industry Knowledge
• Proven experience in sales, account management, and the retail/modern trade industry.
• Strong understanding of distribution channels and key account management strategies.
Technical & Language Skills
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and ERP systems.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
Education & Background
• Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in sales and business development.
• Valid UAE driving license required.
