In the Middle East, Vallourec is serving the Oil and Gas market through 4 legal entities:
▪ Vallourec Middle East FZE. – United Arab Emirate, this company located in Dubai sells OCTG, Line Pipe & Process tubes and accessories, and logistics services for the Middle Eastern market.
▪ Vallourec Saudi Arabia LLC – Saudi Arabia, is a processing and finishing company for seamless OCTG tubes located in Dammam. This facility provided Vallourec with heat treatment and premium threading facilities.
▪ Vallourec Al Qahtani LLC. – Saudi Arabia, this company sells OCTG tubes and accessories on the Saudi market.
▪ Vallourec Tubular Services LLC. – United Arab Emirates, this company has operated a logistics platform in Abu Dhabi for the local market.

Vallourec Middle East FZE is offering a Business Analyst 12 months internship, directly reporting to the Middle East and UK Controlling director. This position is available as soon as possible, based in Dubai, Jebel Ali Free Zone. You will be involved in the commercial development and will provide relevant and accurate financial information for management decision. The Business Analyst is coordinating the product costing analysis through Vallourec internal worldwide production network and is performing all the financial analysis and synthesis.

Besides, the Business Analyst will participate in the monthly closing and consolidation for the Middle East and UK perimeter and will contribute to many ad-hoc analysis.

Key Accountabilities:
Fundamental missions are:
- to coordinate with the different stakeholders to deliver the costing and financials for the commercial quotations in the agreed deadline.
- to revise and update timely the Middle East financial synthesis during the monthly closing.
- to support the other controlling team members in ad-hoc analysis.
- to develop and strengthen the existing tools.

Main activities:

The main activities are
- On Commercial quotation

  • Be the focal point on product costing, ensure the good quality of communication, challenge the consistency and accuracy of the data provided.
  • List and determine all the cost elements to calculate the margin on variable costs.
  • Support the valorisation with complementary analysis when required on working capital and cash flow.
  • Present the results to the Management.
  • Work efficiently, sometimes with short notice, respect strictly the deadline.
  • Develop and enrich the costs database.

- On Middle East financial reporting

  • Update and maintain the financial key figures synthesis for each monthly closing.
  • Check the consistency and main variations with BFC.
  • Challenge the discrepancies in the interco company reconciliation.
  • Structure and prepare the most accurate comparison in Analytics.

-On existing tools/processes (PowerBi)

  • Support and maintain the PowerBi reports.
  • Add and create different views.

Education:
Required: Graduated in a Master’s Degree in Finance or Audit Organization:
Wished: Business School Master Degree

Experience:
Required: Experience in audit, controlling or accounting
Wished: Experience in Oil and Gas

Skills & Knowledge:

❖ Necessary:

  • Understanding of Accounting and Financial
  • Possess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analysis and synthesis capabilities
  • Enthusiastic, curious, open minded, creative & proactive
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong appetence for number crunching and structured processes.

❖ Wished:

  • Knowledge in BI tools skills (PowerBI, Smartsheets…)
  • Knowledge of IT systems supporting order management (SAP)
