Samir FilaliRegional Head of EMEA corridor - HSBC Bank Middle East

Samir is currently the Regional Head of EMEA corridor at HSBC Bank Middle East.

He is helping Multinational companies to identify growth opportunities and enter new markets in Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey.

Samir has been working in the banking industry for the past 18 years. He started his career in London where he gained experience as a Trade Finance specialist, then spent 8 years with the Trade and Corporate Finance team at HSBC France before joining HSBC Singapore for supporting European MNCs across ASEAN region until Sep 2023.

Samir holds a master’s degree in international finance from the University of Bordeaux and a bachelor’s degree in international trade.
