With over 12 years of progressive experience in developing innovation, diverse investment and growth strategies, management consulting, asset management, market access and development of proven best practices to build revenue growth. Nayef started his career in the space industry, driving the business’s growth agenda across EMEA, Asia and Americas. He later moved to setting up his own boutique management consulting firm focused on SMEs. In his current role at Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, he is leading the Innovation and Knowledge department which aims to contribute and help achieve the strategic goals of the UAE government and the emirate of Abu Dhabi to transition to a knowledge-based economy and to enforce a culture of innovation through activating the innovation ecosystem within Abu Dhabi. Nayef holds an Electrical Engineering degree with an Executive MBA from London Business School.
