Founded in 2012 by Kunal Kapoor, The Luxury Closet is a trusted e-commerce platform for buying and selling pre-loved designer items. What started as a three-member team in his Dubai apartment is now the largest luxury resale marketplace in the Middle East, with a clientele across 80 countries. The Luxury Closet has raised over $30m from leading VCs like MEVP, Wamda Capital, and the founders of Huda Beauty. 

Kunal’s foray into retail began when he joined his father to manage the family’s footwear company in India. He then went on to work at Louis Vuitton in Dubai before deciding to start The Luxury Closet. 

Kunal has been named one of the top 100 innovators globally by Vogue Business.
