Ahmed Al Musawa Al HASHEMIExecutive Director, Commercial Etihad Rail

Ahmed Al Musawa Al Hashemi is the Executive Director of Etihad Rail’s commercial sector and member of both the GCC Railway Committee and UAE Land Transport Technical Council.

Having amassed over 13 years of experience, Ahmed started his career as an engineer. With proven acumens in urban development and transport infrastructure, he is now a key figure in the industry.

Ahmed plays a key role in the establishment of the UAE’ National Railway with Etihad Rail, a company he has been involved with for over 8 years. Today in his role as Executive Director of the Commercial Sector, he heads the expansive development plans of Etihad Rail, championing the company’s planning and operational functions which include: corporate strategy, network planning, business development and operations. In addition to these responsibilities Ahmed oversees the marketing and communications functions at the organization.
